Understand, Empower, Heal
I am a Licensed Clinical Psychologist with extensive experience applying an eclectic and integrative approach to mental wellness. Sounds like buzzwords? I’ll explain. My goal is to understand each client’s constellation of beliefs and values, and then introduce techniques that address their presenting problems in an authentic manner. For some, therapeutic work will connect mental health with spiritual goals while for others, an exploration of past experiences will pave the way for healing. With adolescents, my approach addresses identity development, academic, and social goals, and with children, I utilize play therapy techniques to understand their inner world and introduce coping skills.
My identity as a South Asian-American immigrant woman enables me to integrate cultural humility within my work with individuals of all backgrounds. Advocacy and cultural identity exploration comprise the backbone of my experiences with immigrant and third-culture individuals.
I provide psychotherapy and psychological testing services to individuals ages 6+. Testing can address neurodivergence, ADHD, learning difficulties, autism spectrum disorder (ASD), bipolar disorder, and many other presenting questions. Across testing and therapy services, I provide a compassionate, supportive, and non-judgmental space.
